Yes, it levitates.

Yes, it levitates.

Over the weekend Hoop and Holler cameras found a magical, levitating lawn mower.

“Honest” Ed Harder of Portage had the hover craft/yard tool up for sale and we were lucky enough to capture it on camera before it was sold to an excited buyer.

According to Ed, the mower can hover on water allowing you to cut reeds and swamp plants.  To use this feature to it’s fullest, we assume learning to walk on water would prove useful.

These types of mowers are designed for steep inclines and water edges and leave no tire marks.

The original hover mower was invented by Karl Dahlman in 1964 after he had seen Christoper Cockerell’s first hovercraft.

An excited buyer.
