The PCI Trojans lacrosse team marched into Winnipeg and out duelled the Springfield Sabres 8-3.

“We started off a bit slow, but started playing our style as the game went on,” said Coach Al Patterson.

He noted a strong performance by Adam Lamblez in goal helped spur the team on.  Stephen MacKenzie was a strong physical presence, as usual, and lit the lamp twice along with Michael Lavallee.  Single goals came from Jarrett Smith, Tanner Wylde, Robert Smith, and Cody Reeves.

Next up for the Trojans is River East this friday at 11:30am in Winnipeg.  PCI played River East twice last year earning a split.  This year they played them in the first game of the year and suffered a loss but Coach Patterson notes his team has come a long way since then.
